About EIT STEM Tech Talent Induction

EIT STEM Tech Talent Induction (EIT STEM Talent) is an EU-funded initiative led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It sits within the European Commission’s STEM Education Strategic Plan and wider Union of Skills agenda.

Through creating, connecting and promoting high-quality STEM opportunities, the Initiative’s mission is to support people across Europe to access STEM learning and career pathways, contributing to European competitiveness

The Initiative works through the EIT Community, alongside a Europe-wide network of partners (otherwise known as Pledgers).

Together, they help grow the skilled, diverse and entrepreneurial STEM workforce Europe needs to strengthen its innovation capacity and global competitiveness. The Initiative aims to make STEM learning and career opportunities more accessible to everyone across Europe, with a particular focus on women, girls and people from underrepresented backgrounds.

About the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)

The EIT strengthens Europe’s ability to innovate by powering solutions to pressing global challenges and nurturing entrepreneurial talent to create sustainable growth and skilled jobs in Europe. The EIT is an EU body and an integral part of Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

About the EIT Community

The EIT Community, Europe’s largest innovation ecosystem, is a collaborative network comprising the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). These KICs are dedicated to driving systemic change in Europe and beyond, and are currently comprised of Climate-KIC, 28Digital, InnoEnergy, EIT Health, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Food, EIT Urban Mobility and EIT Culture & Creativity. By harnessing the collective expertise of the KICs, the EIT Community initiatives power innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity in Europe. Together, they can foster a competitive, inclusive, and sustainable European economy for generations to come.
